Design & Craftsmanship
Made of solid 9-carat gold and measuring 16.08 mm wide and 23.25 mm high, including the bail, the pendant features a traditional raised-relief portrait of St Christopher carrying a child. With a matt finish and fine-milled edge, it is discreet enough for everyday wear and decorative enough to elevate any look. The pendant can be engraved on the reverse with initials, a date, or a short message. Hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office with a full UK 375 hallmark, you can be assured of its quality.

Purchase the pendant alone or with a choice of solid 9-carat gold chains in a range of lengths. Our curb chain is a close curb, hand-finished, British-made chain measuring 1.2 mm wide and weighing from 2.15g to 3g depending on length. Our belcher chain is an elegant yet substantial, hand-finished, British-made chain measuring 2.4 mm wide and weighing from 3.15g to 4.5g depending on length. The Meaning of St Christopher
The legend of St Christopher has its roots in both Greek and Roman mythology, traced back to the 3rd century AD. According to legend, St Christopher carried a child across a river, the child growing heavier with every step until St Christopher could barely carry him. It was later revealed that the child was Jesus, and St Christopher had carried the weight of the world on his shoulders. This story became a symbol of protection for travellers, and St Christopher was named their patron saint. Under the tissue, you will find a ribbon-tied gift box containing a velvet storage pouch. Our pouches are made for us in the USA and incorporate Intercept® technology to keep your jewellery sparkling when it is not being worn.
In the envelope with your name on it, you will find a polish cloth to keep your silver or gold jewellery clean. There is also a ring sizer. Keep it in your jewel box as it will come in handy.
If your item is a gift, you can opt to add a complimentary, ribbon-tied, luxury gift bag & a gift message at the basket stage.
