Our chains are made only of precious metals - sterling silver, 9 carat gold or 18 carat gold vermeil. The chain material matches the material of the locket. There are no base metals in Lily Blanche jewellery. We pride ourselves on the quality of our chains.
Most pendants come on a free, medium-weight curb chain as standard. Solid gold and white gold pendants can also be purchased without a chain. You can upgrade your chain size and type in the drop-down menu. Our current options are curb chain, rope chain, and belcher chain in sizes from 18 inches to 30 inches. Yes, this necklace is independently tested and hallmarked with a full UK hallmark by the Assay Office. Most Lily Blanche pendants are hallmarked on the back of the bail (the loop the chain goes through).

Hallmarks can be applied only to the noble metals, which are silver, gold, platinum or palladium. In the UK, four Assay Offices – in Edinburgh, Birmingham, London and Sheffield – are authorised by the UK government to apply hallmarks. There are stringent laws around hallmarking. This means if you own an item with a full UK hallmark, you can have peace of mind that it has been independently tested and approved by one of the four Assay Offices, which are government agencies.

The hallmark is your guarantee of quality. It means that the item of jewellery has been:

• Independently tested
• Conforms to all legal standards of purity (fineness)
• Guarantees the provenance of the jewellery.

Yes, free fully tracked UK standard delivery is available for this necklace. All Lily Blanche jewellery also comes with a free jewellery care kit and free gift bag. Add these at the checkout.
We have three UK delivery options:

• Standard, which is Royal Mail 48 hours. Free on orders over £125. Please allow 3 - 5 working days.
• First Class, which is Royal Mail 24 hours or DPD. Cost is £6.50. Please allow 1-2 working days.
• Express delivery, which is Royal Mail Special Delivery or DPD next day service. This is a next working day service for orders placed between Monday and Friday at noon. A signature is required for this service.

Please note that our laser engraving machine determines the size and scale of the individual letters and how they are placed on the jewellery. This will depend on the font, the message to be engraved and the precise mix of capital and lowercase letters.
